Oven-Baked Hard-Boiled Eggs

No boiling water, no cracked shells—just perfectly cooked eggs straight from the oven! 

What You’ll Need:

  • Room temperature eggs
  • A damp kitchen towel
  • Oven-safe rack
  • Ice bath (large bowl with water + ice) 

Instructions:

  1. Oven is off: Start with the oven turned off.
  2. Set the towel: Lay a damp towel on the oven rack.
  3. Egg placement: Gently place room temperature eggs on the towel. Use the bars of the oven rack to keep them steady—no rolling around! (Make sure they don’t touch each other.)
  4. Turn it on: Set the oven to 320°F.
  5. Bake: Let the eggs cook for 30 minutes.
  6. Ice bath time: While they’re baking, prep a bowl of icy water.
  7. Cool down: Once time’s up, carefully grab the towel by the corners and transfer the eggs straight into the ice bath.
  8. Chill & peel: Let them cool completely before peeling.
