Hamburger Egg Bake with a Kiss

Servings: 6–8

Total Time: ~50 minutes 

Shape Ingredients 

  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or pork) 
  • 3 slices bacon, chopped 
  • 1 onion, chopped 
  • 7 eggs, separated 
  • 1 cup cottage cheese 
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, jack, or mix) 
  • 2–3 tsp Kiss the Chef Universal Blend 
  • 1 Tbsp Chimichurri or Herb blend 

Instructions 

  1. Preheat Oven: 350°F. Grease a 7 ½ × 11-inch baking dish. 

  1. Cook Bacon & Meat 

  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, fry bacon until just crisp. 
  • Add onion; sauté 1 minute. 
  • Add ground meat + 2 tsp Kiss the Chef Universal Blend. Cook until browned. Remove from heat and let cool. 
  1. Prepare Egg Yolks: In a bowl, blend yolks, cottage cheese, and herb blend. Set aside. 

  1. Whip Egg Whites: In a clean bowl, whip whites for ~5 minutes until stiff peaks form. Fold in shredded cheese + 1 tsp Kiss the Chef Universal Blend. 

  1. Assemble

  • Mix yolk mixture with cooled meat. 
  • Spread into prepared dish. 
  • Top with egg white mixture. 
  • Sprinkle with extra seasoning if desired. 
  1. Bake: 30 minutes at 350°F, until top is golden and set. 

  1. Serve: Let cool slightly. Serve with salad or sautéed vegetables.
